I know, that term is overused. This kid is the Jedi though. I'm not sure what is happening in the second half with those ariels, but I suspect he is slowing time(nearing the speed of light), hitting the gravity pause button(this whole clip may actually be a video game) and probably not even trying very hard - and clearly brakes are just for the normal people. Not of earth.
