Quest for the Holy Trail

i would love to add this share from brother trey,  very interesting article and some good insight...

  1. Good article. Interesting points, and many of them.

Hopefully we can get to the point where we are able to build more(at all levels of ability), as a result of communication and cooperation with the land owners and managers. I think they(SW BC) have demonstrated that more trails(and more advanced trails) are in the best interest of everyone in the community.

    Liked this closing paragraph -

"The next time you ride an outstanding trail be sure to realize the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into shaping the earth for your enjoyment. And if you come across a crew of diggers hard at work, show your appreciation by thanking them and offering a few minutes of your help. It may be as little as moving some wood or packing out some trash, but the deed will not go unnoticed."

  2. Good article. I like the mention of using IMBA guidelines as a base but also deviating from them when the local terrain, or technical element requires it.
