Slo-mo sucks

There is a good reason that slow motion video is used is biking videos, because you get to see the minute body movements that separate really really good riders from mediocre and bad riders.  For example, two minutes of Ian Morrison scrubbing a jump=awesome.  Two minutes of Nico Vink straight airing jumps=boring.  I almost fell asleep because the music is so slow.

I want to watch this clip at full speed set to metal.  It would entertaining, fun, and not boring. Interestingly, that first video was posted on Vital, while the next one was found on defgrip.  One is dull bike media filler, one is a visually pleasing video of some next level bike maneuvers.  Coincidence?  I think not.

  1. the whole concept of "mass mtns" and what they thought was spiritual music for it, was definitely covered in the first one; but the second one made me really dig the riding with the use of slow mo' (in the realm of the close up rider), very profound and awesome!!!!
